“ElectricCo” is the trading name of ElectricCo Limited, which is a registered company in England and Wales, registered company number 11869079, registered address 78 Tiverton Avenue, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE29 8PX, email chris@micfak.com, telephone 01916594086 or 07578762762.  In this document, the terms “we”, ElectricCo”, “us”, “our” or “ElectricCo Ltd.” all refer to ElectricCo Limited.  The terms “you”, “your” or “customer” refer to the person(s) or company who are purchasing our goods or services.  ElectricCo is a VAT registered company and all prices shown will clearly state whether they are inclusive of VAT “VAT inc”, “inc VAT” or “including VAT”, or exclusive of VAT “ex VAT”, “VAT ex”, “+VAT” or “plus VAT”.  Our VAT Registration number is 409178387.


Jobs and Services

ElectricCo reserve the right to refuse installation for any safety reason.
ElectricCo Ltd. will provide all customers with a written quotation or estimate where required, this will be sent by email to the address provided by the customer.  By accepting the quotation/estimate and booking an appointment, you are entering into a contract with electricCo Ltd.  Your email, text message, WhatsApp message or Facebook message will be the confirmation that you are accepting the quotation.  If any customers are unable to use electronic media, a printed quotation will be provided which must be signed before any appointments will be booked.
Following the completion of the work, or at pre-agreed intervals, including payments in advance for larger jobs, you will receive an invoice via email (wherever possible) for the works.  Our payment terms are 14 calendar days (unless otherwise agreed at time of booking for registered companies).  Payments are to be made by bank transfer – if you are unable to pay by bank transfer, please advise us when booking so that we can discuss your options.


Payments, Cancellations and Rescheduling Work

Our payment terms are 14 calendar days for all domestic customers, with the exception of ‘Flash Offers’, which require full payment in advance.
For our commercial or industrial customers, our payment terms are also 14 calendar days, however we are willing to negotiate in line with your published payment terms, stated in advance.  This may include a deposit to be paid in advance for the materials cost.  Please discuss this at the time of booking.
Late payment fees will be applied to all invoices passed their payment dates; this is charged at 2% of the invoice value per day, plus VAT, a separate invoice will be issued weekly.  Failure to settle your account in full, may result in the use of a debt collection agency or court proceedings – the cost of doing so will also be added to your account.

Cancellations for all of our customers within 48 hours will be charged at £50, or 25% of the job value, whichever is greater, plus the cost of any ordered materials, which will be delivered to you within 10 working days.
Cancellations for all of our customers who give us outside of 48 hours will not be charged a cancellation fee, however will still be charged for any ordered materials, which will be delivered to you within 10 working days at cost plus 10%, plus VAT, unless the job is rescheduled and goes ahead within 30 days.

Rescheduling work for all of our customers within 24 hours will be charged a one-off rescheduling fee of £50 on their final invoice.  Outside of 24 hours, we will look to reschedule your work at a more convenient time.

Waste Policy

The disposal of non-hazardous waste is the responsibility of the customer.  Any large, bulky or hazardous waste removal will be quoted for on a job-by-job basis.  Removal and disposal of waste can be arranged and will be chargeable at £10 per rubble sack.  WEEE fees apply for electrical disposal via a 3rd party and will be quoted for separately.

At electricCo we are proud to provide our customers with an outstanding service.  If we have provided goods or services to you or your company, we would love it if you could leave us a review on Google or Facebook.  Please note we may use these reviews to promote our business both online and offline. 
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with our work, please outline your concerns in writing to chris@micfak.com so that we can work with you to achieve a mutually agreeable outcome.  We ask that our customers refrain from posting negative reviews online until they have discussed their concerns with us.
